Three Daughters
Alison’s father had three daughters, so did his bag. This gladstone bag has been deconstructed and reconfigured into three seperate objects. Like their human counterparts they are a mixture of genetic heritage; some familiar, some new. Three Daughters pays homage to the marks of history and evidence of adventure and tells a story of family through materials and form.

"This bag has great sentimental value. When I think of my Dad as a young man (he is now 89) I think how smart he looked with his travel satchel. We found it recently in the corner of his garage."
